Collection of your Personal Information & Non-Personal Information
In order to use the Services provided through VetEasy or the Site or schedule an Appointment, you will be required to register an account. During registration and after, VetEasy may collect personally identifiable information or “personal information” to operate the Site and deliver the services you have requested. Personal information may include: your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, physical address, and pet health care records, history and data. If you make a purchase and/or book an Appointment, we collect billing and credit card information, including credit or debit card number. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction. Your credit card information is used for billing purposes only. If we have trouble processing your registration, we will use this information to contact you.
If you communicate with us in any manner, for example, e-mail or telephone, any information provided in such communication may be collected as personal information.
In addition to the personal information that we collect directly from you, we may also collect certain personal information about you or your pet from or on behalf of the Professional(s) providing services through VetEasy. We may ask about your pet's information, medical records and past or primary veterinary providers. We use this information to enhance your experience with this Site by allowing veterinarians providing you services to to easily contact you or contact your pet's veterinary provider(s) to obtain medical records or additional information to enhance services on our Site. By using the Services or booking an Appointment, you acknowledge and agree that we may seek to obtain your pet's medical records from your primary or past veterinary provider, and you consent to such medical records being provided to us.
If you do not provide your authorization, now or in the future, or if you subsequently withdraw your authorization, you may not be able to use the Services provided through VetEasy.
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by VetEasy. This information can include: your device, IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information may be used for the operation of the Services, to maintain quality of the Services, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Site and when used in such manner is considered “non-personal information.” Aggregated personal information is information that is derived from personal information that does not personally identify you or any other user of the Site is also considered non-personal information. Non-personal information does not personally identify you, therefore we may use and disclose non-personal information for any purpose.

Use of your Personal Information
VetEasy collects and uses your personal information.
We may also collect precise information about your location with your consent.
Your personal information may be disclosed to our third-party service providers that provide services to VetEasy for ongoing business purposes, which may include e-mail delivery, data analysis, website hosting and IT related services. In addition, your personal information may be disclosed to provide any services requested through VetEasy or the Site or to a third party for such purposes credit card processing to bill you for goods and services, whether on behalf of VetEasy or third parties. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes. Your personal information and information regarding your pet, including medical history, will be provided to veterinary Professionals who are providing services through VetEasy in order to fulfill Appointments. Your personal information (name, phone number, address, email address) and your pet's information will be sent to emergency/specialty or general practice veterinarians, at your request, in the case that your pet needs to be seen in order to provide the veterinarian all possible/necessary information to better serve your pet.
Your personal information may also be disclosed in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, liquidation or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock, including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceeding.
We may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from VetEasy and its affiliates. We may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.
We do not sell, rent or lease our customer lists to third parties.
We may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e.g. e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system is 100% secure, and therefore we cannot guarantee against all potential security breaches.
Controlling Your Personal Information
As a registered user of VetEasy or the Services offered, you may modify some of your personal information by logging in and accessing your account settings. Upon your request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete your account and any information you have provided; however, it may be impossible to remove your account without some residual information being retained by us, and we may be required by law or our agreement with our service provider to retain certain information. Children Under Thirteen
VetEasy does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use the Site and Services.
Marketing Opt-Out & Unsubscribe
We respect your privacy and give you an opportunity to opt-out of receiving announcements of certain information, including newsletters, marketing or promotional campaigns and other information that may be of interest to you. We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. You will also receive an email report from your veterinarian or service provide after each correspondence, service or Appointment including a summary of the information that was provided.
